IMVELO SAFARI LODGE’s SABLE HALL

IMVELO SAFARI LODGE’s SABLE HALL

I have been to Imvelo Safari Lodge countless times and have never paid attention to the venue due to just being focused on what I am there for. However as a tourism blogger I had to pay attention this time.

I visited the place as part of my job as a journalist (and a blogger of course) I was covering the Teachers awards held by the department of education and my tourism blogger instinct kicked in.

Imvelo, situated on N6 REDDERSBURG RD, MARIGOLD FARM 2051, in BLOEMFONTEIN is beautiful. It is luxurious and perfect to host weddings, conferences, meetings, parties and has the Sable hall which is able to host about 400-600 people in estimation (this is just my estimation and not definite capacity)

I was interested in the Sable hall’s hosting capacity and capability. The hall is beautiful, big and the stage is big and spacious for theatre productions and other theatre related activities. Entering the hall you are greeted by the bar. The bar is ideal for those who enjoys gulping “holy water” while attending a function.

The tiles on the floor are beautifully done, the chandeliers are one to die for. The toilets are inside the hall. The toilets are tidy, has air freshener’s, toilet paper, soaps and the curtains, wow stunning curtains.

Now as I entered the venue, I was greeted by young people clad in black and white who I recognised as employees, they were friendly as they served people who attended the teachers awards cocktails before the awards officially kicked off.

The place was well decorated, majestic, breathtaking decoration, one that will get tourists to consider the place. The staff assisted people to their seats. Sitting was well arranged and the audience didn’t struggle to find where to sit.

Then came the starters, they were delicious. As a tourist visiting a certain place, food can be the deal breakers, if they are bad it’s unlikely that a tourist will come to the place however the starters were scrumptious and I had to lick my lips.

However the main course menu wasn’t impressive. It could be that, the menu was chosen by the event organisers however they served little food. Not the one to eat when you really hungry but the service was excellent.

However they take very long to serve people and the staff takes plates to people. It would be better if they can introduce better ways to serve people food more faster. We had to wait a little longer to be served but the staff did their best and served the food with a smile but still finding faster ways to serve food is vital , maybe having more serving points will help people get food faster.

The staff is friendly. Wifi is available and if you are visiting from outside SA or from within SA, getting in touch with family and friends via Whatsapp, Facebook or any other social media is vital. The wifi connectivity is effective, fast and the best.

Imvelo safari lodges’s Sable Hall is definitely the place to consider if you want to create memories, host epic parties, baby showers or whatever function you want to host. It is beautiful, breath taking and I recommend it.

It has music facilities where music is played. If you are into selfies or just taking photos for social media, the place is ideal and you can take beautiful pictures both inside and outside the hall. The kind of pictures perfect for Instagram.

So visit Imvelo Safari Lodge and host your function there. They are accommodating, provides excellence customers service and very friendly and very welcoming. They also offer adventurous activities such game drives, nature walking, quad biking and a whole lot of fun perfect for families and group tours.
